Areas that need work
  • On-Page SEO:
    • Hotjar's pages have too many main headings, which can confuse search engines and make the website harder to use. It's better to have only one main heading.
    • The important keywords on the page should be used in the right places to help search engines understand what the page is about.
  • Usability:
    • Hotjar's website didn't pass Google's assessment for good user experience.
    • Google found that Hotjar's page loads very slowly on both mobile and desktop, taking up to 10 seconds. It should be faster, ideally around 6-7 seconds.
Suggestions by SEOAudit:
  • Remove unnecessary JavaScript code that is not needed.
  • Make the server respond faster, so the website loads quicker.
  • Get rid of duplicate code in JavaScript to avoid slowing down the website.
  • Load onscreen images later, so the important parts of the website can load faster.

    1. Impact: Increasing the discoverability of this fully functional site will enable users to experience the product easily, increasing value perception
